Warden Hill URC is a modern church, built when the area of Warden Hill was developed in the late 1950s. The church is situated next to a children’s play area and at the end of a small parade of local shops. On the third Sunday of every month there is an opportunity for the children to share in a cooking club. Children are most welcome every Sunday to what is called Sunday Sparks and First Steps - this includes facilities for parents with babies. Social activities for the congregation include an annual May Plant Sale, which proved popular and many local gardeners get their plants from this sale. There is also a Christmas Fair on the first Saturday in December. In partnership with St. Christopher's Church, Warden Hill URC promotes activities for people of Warden Hill. |
