Cheltenham Bournside School and Sixth Form Centre is an
oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive
school with a Sixth Form of over
430 students. It has become a Specialist Visual Arts College, when Bournside parents raised £40,000 to support the bid in 2002.
It has high standards of teaching and learning across the whole curriculum. which is achieved via a programme of cross-curricular projects, staff training and the provision of new equipment and resources in every subject. Pupils benefit from a rich range of
activities and artists in residence work
with pupils of all ages.
Bournside School has a wide range of facilities: Sports centre, library with qualified staff and computer rooms, A visual arts centre of excellence - arts studio for both school and community use, digital arts suite with specialist film and graphics software, exhibition space which serves as performance venue and school hall, roofed sculpture court for large scale 3D work.
