Jordan Martyn is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, lyricist, producer, composer, arranger and performer. His energetic and powerful vocals combined with poetic lyrics and versatile songwriting makes Jordan stand out, whether he is playing his Rock influenced Indie/Pop originals or reworking classics in his own unique style, Jordan has an energy and passion that shines through every song he plays.

Jordan began playing the piano at the age of 7.
Later on he took up brass lessons playing trumpet and by the age of 11 Jordan had played with Cheltenham Youth Brass Orchestra for 3 years as well as joining Pittville School orchestra. At 15 he began playing guitar, and quickly began to experiment with different rhythmic styles of playing, including Reggae, Calypso, Bossa Nova, as well as Blues, Jazz and Rock soloing.
Second to his love of playing and writing music Jordan has a passion for recording and arranging. From early recordings with his trusty Akai 4000S MKII reel to reel and Yamaha MD4 (which is still in his studio today) to the computer based setup he uses now. His growing composition and production portfolio includes a catalogue of Self-help CD/mp3's for Martyn Court, as well as competition music for Dressage tests. |
