This could well be Bloc Party fronted by Pete Doherty after a long smack n crack n flapjack session, Interpol turn up with a pacamac and the complete works of Jack Kerouac too - simply young guys playing 'post-punk
indie rock with a London touch', fitting nicely with the currently fashionable post-Arctic Monkeys scene. Their dirty melodic fast choppy guitars provide
the backing for some good song writing.
