Barry and Maureen's website covers Surmans from Eldersfield, Worcestershire, UK, from the 1480's, who then moved to north Gloucestershire in 1543. In the late 1870's the family went to Wrexham (Wales) and then moved to Birmingham c.1891. Barry and Maureen also created a one name study covering all variations of the Surman surname. |

Doreen and Ray Niblett's Genealogy Pages follow the line of the Niblett family in Gloucestershire since 1663. One of their ancestors, Ernest Charles Stephen Niblett, was a fireman with Cheltenham fire brigade. Other surnames they researched are Floyd, Bubb, Hands, Hyett, Hubber, Portlock and Tracey.

Ron Blackwell's Blackwell Genealogy website gives information about the Blackwell family from Cheltenham. George Blackwell married Mary Barradell and had 5 children and also adopted one boy. In 1850, the two eldest sons left for Canada. After 1851 the Father and younger son Henry left for New York. Their story and history is documented by Lois Clarinda Twichel in her memoirs and expanded in this lovely website.
