Cotswold Challenge - Round 3

14 racers, including 6 from Swindon, some regulars, some new faces. A compatibility problem with a controller wiping out two lanes restricted heats to everyones best run to count from qualifying.

Swindon junior Toby Stevens running for the first time around Dowty's, along with Ian Fury King from Dowty's were the first to lose out in the F Final, followed by Bob Leach (Swindon) and Graham Fryer (Dowty) in the E Final. The D Final had promising Dowty junior James Davey being eliminated along with RogerTownsend also from the host club. Marc Townsend and BSCRA Chairman Rob Lees, both Swindon racers, failed to make it beyond the C Final, whilst they were joined after the B Final by Funky and Dowty's other junior, Noddy Lockey who looked quick and consistent all evening.

The A Final was dominated by Dave Coward, again with Neal Callahan 2nd from Rob Harris and Mike Perkins.

Most importantly, again good humour, sportsmanlike behaviour and good fun.

With 3 wins from 3 races the championship is headed by DC from Neal and Rob Harris.
