Cheltenham Warchiefs

Cheltenham Warchiefs was originally a Warhammer Fantasy Battle club but now its members play lots of different games including 40K, Mordheim, Blood Bowl, Flames of War, Napoleonics, Warmachine, Blitzkrieg Commander, Warmaster Ancients. It is an independent (that is - not run by GW) club and it was formed in 1996. Club members play a huge variety of games and scales, and are rabid painters, scenery builders and hobby enthusiasts. Members like nothing better than to share skills, knowledge and the odd historical fact or two.

The club meets on a Monday in Cheltenham at 7.30 pm at Hatherley and Reddings Cricket Club on Shurdington Road. Members pay £3 per evening (First evening free to new members)

Anyone over the age of 16 can join (as there is a bar at the cricket club). You can bring painted figures, armies or just yourself and the club will always get a game sorted out for you. To join please send your contact details via e-mail or phone and a list of the games systems and armies you play and the club will arrange for you to come down for a taster night and sort you out a game.

There are several benefits to becoming a member of the club. All members are close friends and have a great time together. Also, test rules sets are played and armies to play can be worked out prior to buying them. The club also runs a lot of in-house campaigns and leagues so you get to play lots of different people.
