Cheltenham has a thriving community and is a home to numerous clubs and societies, covering various interests. You can take up arts, photography, learn to dance, join a choir or an orchestra, become a star in a local production, appreciate countries of the world by learning about their culture, learn about local history, find your ancestors, and much more. You can find friends in social clubs, or by taking up various indoor or outdoor activities. Cheltenham has also many clubs for children and young people, such as scouts, guides and cadets. Community playgroups learn the very youngest much needed social skills.
